Account Executive

Pitschy Media is a digital agency that helps companies tell their stories across online channels and social media platforms. We are seeking top level Account Executives to add to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new clients through a relentless drive to generate new business
  • Face to face meetings with prospective clients
  • Involvement in the local business community, developing relationships with business owners and key decision makers to ensure success and repeat business
  • Working with creative team to create tailored marketing campaigns for clients that are focused on their marketing needs and growing their business
  • Executing the client campaign as agreed upon
  • Coordinating all aspects of a marketing campaign including copy, ad production, billing, collections, promotions, and events
  • Achieve sales objectives including sales revenue goals
  • Maintain regular customer contact
  • Attend sales meetings, events

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years outside sales experience (media sales preferred) and a proven track record of successfully prospecting and developing new business
  • An understanding of marketing principles and a creative mind to put together unique ideas for our clients.
  • Proven expertise in brand strategy across a number of verticals with the ability to translate strategy into smart and sound digital tactics
  • An understanding of a brand marketing, ensuring that social & digital strategies integrate and amplify more traditional channels
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Internet, social media, and digital marketing savvy
  • Excellent listening skills and strong curiosity to learn about your clients’ businesses
  • Problem solving ability – someone who sees a problem as an opportunity to develop business

Social Media Manager

Hartford, CT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute paid media campaigns across a variety of digital platforms using native and third-party tools
  • Confidently manage campaigns from start to finish with little supervision
  • Translate client needs into campaign strategies that go above and beyond their expectations.
  • Develop in-depth and technical reports to showcase performance, both for clients and within Pitschy Media
  • Manage ad vendors to execute campaigns
  • Responsible for channel planning across digital placements, including search and social
  • Work collaboratively with account teams to develop and optimize campaigns

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience developing and managing social/digital campaigns at a social or digital media agency, with a preference for paid social or PPC
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Proven track record of managing multiple campaign projects at once
  • Ability to stay positive, organized and efficient in a fast-paced work environment
